Tate and his date!

Yesterday after I picked Tate up for school we headed to Shannon and Jillians house for a double date. We went to Ricks and got cookies and quietly ate them (not!! Tate was the opposite of quiet) haha. Sorry to the young man trying to study. Although we caught him laughing at some of Tate's stories and comments. While we were sitting there I asked Tate what he wanted to do for dinner tonight and relplied, "EAT FOOD." Such a little smartie pants! Then we headed to the mall to do some shopping! Luckily BOTH baby and toddler fell ASLEEP! I am so excited for the rest of the week! I have a hair appointment on Thursday (deciding on going all dark or going blonder, what do yall think)? Then a much needed girls lunch with Shannon and Brittany at Hugos!!

Tate has been so funny lately and maybe a little grumpy today. When he woke up this morning I told him "good morning," and he said, "WHAT!!!!!!" I told him he sounded a little grumpy and he said, "yeah I am!" haha! He is also on this lemonade kick, everything has to be lemonade! Trying to avoid a SITUATION I told him his juice was lemonade last night. He took one drink spit it out (on his bed) and said "Mom I know lemonade and this is NOT lemonade." Just to funny! SO, I did what I do best cave in and chanced a cavity and gave sugar filled lemonade from Chick-fil-a!!! By the way I realized I am the only mother on the block that hasn't uploaded pictures of Tate's Christmas, sorry! Please know he was spoiled rotten and if you guys want to see them I will do a post if you want!

Boot Camp, anyone?!?!

I was just reading about the boot camp that you can do at the Northwest Arknasas Mall it is from 5:30 am to 6:30am and another class at 8:30 to 9:30! It sounds fun (not really but who am I kidding I need to lose some lbs). Is anyone else doing it? I think I would enjoy it better if someone did it with me. Any hands??????

I was going through my moms camera the other day and I could not get over how adorable Tate and Jace are! Tate is 3 and Jace is 2! Our boys play so good together sometimes I feel they are more like brothers than cousins! They constantly go around saying "do you want some of this, with a fist." Jace is a spitting image of my brother but with blonde hair. I am so grateful for their friendship!

This picture cracks me up. My mom called me while I was teaching to tell me about this mess. And trust me it was so worth leaving the class for that story. Apparently Jace had dry skin (thats what Tate said, haha!)

Addicted!

So I never thought that I was addicted to anything! I don't drink (maybe wine everyone once in a while but only Stella Rosa) and I don't smoke. BUT, I am so addicted to Diet Coke! This is going to be a boring post without any cute pictures my little sweetie. I am trying to get back into shape, I have even looked at my treadmill a little lately (haven't touched it yet though). I have been drinking my Jay Robb protein shakes. I manage to cancel my good eating and protein shakes with Diet Coke. I am pretty sure I have two people to blame for this addiction: Ashley and Paige. Before you two I never drank this! Enough of that! My friend Shannon and I are going to try this detox thing tomorrow. You can't eat for the whole day, they say the detox taste so nasty you don't even want to eat! SO YAY!

Tate has been a busy body lately. He has had some playdates with Addie, Jace, and Cholie. He got "hungry, hungry, hippo" for Christmas so we play that all the time. I even eat small white balls in my sleep. Thomas the train is played with all the time, and woody and buzz were also great gifts from Santa! I love this weather, I LOVE the cold!!! Well I just wanted to ramlbe about a couple things. Rambling is now done going to make stuffed shells for dinner!

Keystone, Colorado

The last day Michael had to work so Hannah, Tate, and I sat out for adventure! He went to the playground, attempted a snowman, shopped, rode the buffalo (for the thousandth time), and of course waited for Santa and his two reindeer to come to the village. One night we even made a gingerbread house but, for some reason I can't find them!!




Last week we packed up and went skiing for the week. Tate was an animal! He seriously scared me to death. He LOVED IT. He skied with me for 2 days and 1 day he went to ski school. I loved skiing down to his school to watch him, they were all so cute!! Tate really loved his teacher, Mr. Joe they were partners in crime, haha. Tate seriously loved the lifts. I was thinking that he is a such an easy child. I can't think of very many 3 year olds that would leave their mommy for a day to go with a complete stranger and do something he has never done such as skiing, he loved the height of the lifts, and he loved the cold. He was telling everyone he talked to on the phone that he has a new home now and, someone needs to bring him Sadie and Dolly, haha! We had a ski in and ski out condo which may I say was awesome when a 3 year old is tired.
















I know I am late at updating my blog, I will try to have Christmas pictures up soon. Tate had a wonderful Christmas, Thanks to wonderful family and friends!

Tooth Pain!

The past couple of days have been a bit painful. I had to have a infected tooth (molar) pulled. It had to be the most pain I have been in in awhile. Lets just say all the people that warned me that it was going to hurt, you were right! I had planned to have this done Thursday and return to work on Friday for parent teacher conferences well, that didn't happen. I have been in bed all day.

While I have been down I watched some amazing movies, Julie and Julia, 4 Christmas's, and My Sisters Keeper, and I am officially caught up on The Young and The Restless. I am about to watch Funny People now. So I hope everyone has a good weekend.

Lesson of the week, when you have mouth pain GO TO THE DOCTOR!

Baby Jillian Is Here!

Last night we went to the Razorback basketball game. Tate loves the games, the hog not so much.




These are the pictures from Tate's eye on Thanksgiving. After this incident we really didn't take any pictures. Tate was not having it. But, neither would I if a stick went up my eye! Although he was in a really good mood the rest of day.


This picture is from a Fall Feast we had with our students, Tate plays so good with my students. While we were at the party, one of my students dad told me that Tate looked like he came from a gap commercial! Haha!


Last but not least, one of my best friends, Shannon had her beautiful baby. After a couple hours of hard core pushing she decided to come out via c-section. We are so glad you are here, and already love you so much. Congratulations, Lee and Shannon!

Getting Lazy!

Lately, blogging has not come so easy. I still love reading my daily blogs but keeping up with my own is another story. Not to mention I have new pictures but my camera is in my car and I don't want to stop watching "Raising Sextuplets" (by the way she just had a tummy tuck, me next please).

Thanksgiving was wonderful this year! We spent the whole day traveling all over Northwest Arkansas. Then I ended the night at my BF house going over our Black Friday agenda. Thats right Black Friday, and I had a blast. The alarm went off at 3 and I didn't leave the mall till 5:30 p.m.. My poor Tahoe was crammed full. Back to Thanksgiving, Tate got a new battle womb. While I was at my MIL Tate was chasing her dogs with sticks (sorry MIL I would like to think he wasen't hitting them). He tripped and landed on the stick. He luckily just got the eyebrow and not his eye an inch lower and it would of been bad. I will update with pictures later.

Today I haven't left the house. I have managed to get all the rooms clean, Tate's room rearranged, presents wrapped, and closets cleaned. Oh Yeah, we got our pictures back and they are adorable I will post them tonight too.

Random Thoughts!

I have a couple things I wanted to ramble about:

1. My two sister in-laws are boarding a plane in a few hours to go to India to see our other sister, so please keep them in your prayers.

2. Um, It's almost December, ugh!!!!

3. I'm getting so pumped for Black Friday, I love it!!! I think I love watching people more than I do shopping. Yeah, not true love the shopping.

4. I took my Praxis II test last weekend, um it was hard. I think they should of made a special test for me. They should call it, "the test for the girl that hasen't been in school for awhile." And, made it easier! haha.

5. Tate is just like me! He loves oreos (well, only the middle). Then puts them back together and puts them in the oreo package. I use to do this to my brother and he would get so mad, and now my 3 year is doing it to me. Payback, I think so!!!

6. I have got to start running again. I was playing tag with my students, and one proceeded to ask me why I was breathing hard. I replied that I was just getting old! He left it alone after that.

7. We went on a field trip this week with our students to Old Main, we had a freezing BLAST. We ran around all the trees, looked at names on the sidewalks, played hide and seek, and collected items to make a shadow box next week. Since we have school on Monday and Tuesday (really U of A??). Here is a picture of our class. Aren't they adorable?!?! I'm going to miss these kiddos!
